And again ....

Ok people, above it the Turkey supper they searved us yesterday which was really good, and I managed to grab an extra one which I have for my lunch today......
Also i threw in two pictures of my desk, I know it's not that interesting but it's only to prove to my hubby that I actually was doing some work, see ...see all the papers lol

Last but not least is the pictures I was holding back of the Christmas gifts I was working on but couldn't post because the recipients frequentally read this blog..... So here is the finished products!

The Long Work Week

This is me saying Hi from my Office chair this week. I'm counting the days down till Tomorrow at 6pm when I can finally start celebrating Christmas and enjoy some much needed time with my sweetheart.
I bring you some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

My awesome friends gave me these gifts for my birthday! Pretty sweet huh!

Helix Kinda Christmas

Well here it is the Helix scarf finally finished.........

 Man that's a lot of knitting lol. I also made a pair of mittens for Jolene's Daughter Catherine for her Birthday. Pics to come, they are blocking right now.
Well I'm back to work on Wednesday and will be there till the 28th. I know it sucks to be working Christmas Eve and Day and Boxing day but it's Overtime Pay and that makes it bearable. We are off for New Years but no plans yet. Hopefully my neighbor will have a party again this year.
Still working on Vanessa's mittens. Hope to have at least one of them done today.
All for now. I'll be postin sometime this week from work if i get a break.

Happy Birthday To Me :D

Well like the title says, today is my birthday and i'm at work ...blaaaaa. Hopefully it will fly by and i'll be at home and relaxing in a hot bubble bath soon. Did I mention I have the best husband in the World!!! He bought me a 2012 Membership to the "Rockin Socks Club". How cool is that! It's so cool to have a man that is in touch with my wooly needs hahah. So i better get some work done. Till the next post!

Christmas is coming!

Hey my fellow bloggers!!! I'm here at work just getting ready to start my day. This week is different for me, I'm working on my cross shift on days which Cory is working nights. I havn't seen him since Tuesday evening and I won't get to see him till Wednesday morning....*Sigh* I guess that's how the ball bounces. I've made a bunch of progress on the never ending Zauberball scraf and I should have it finished on my days off.

Also this week is special because Tuesday is my Birthday :D I'm hoping for cake here at work but i'm not holding my breath lol
Since i fixed the blog and allowed everyone to post I have yet to receive a comment from anyone. Please if it's not working or if there is an issue send me an email, my address is at the top of this blog.

I'm Getting Better

Ok folks, I've fixed something on the blog that i didn't know about until my cousin told me. I didn't know you had to be a member of Google or Gmail to be able to post. Newfie Mitts Galore

I've started 1 of 7 pairs of Newfie mittens i have to make. These are for Vanessa.

1 of 3 pairs for her. I haven't finished the scarf yet or Mikes mittens, Hope to make some progress before I go back to work on Sunday. I'll be updating with new pictures when I have them. Ta ta for now.

3 Little Hats

Well i'm off for 11 days now so I should get some knitting done. I managed to finish Vanessa's hats here's a pic:

Don't mind the mess in the back ground please lol As you can see this is my corner of the couch with all my essential knitting stuff and if anyone noticed the book (Stephanie Pearl McPhee-Knitting Rules) It's only part of my knitting library of must haves! Now to continue on a Christmas present which i can't post till the new year as the recipient might happen to see it........39 days till Christmas :D Fa-la-la-la-la-laaa-laaaa-laaaa-laaaaaaaa :D

Stop Pointing at Me

Hey again, here is one of Mikes Trigger Finger Mittens finished.

I haven't cast on the second mitten yet, I just started back on my set of 7. My days off coming up will consist of Hunting and knitting when I can, but mostly hunting. Me and Hubby have to get our meat for the winter. Deer season is almost over. The scarf isn't finished yet, it's not even half done. I swear that Zauberball is never ending lol. Hope to finish it soon before Christmas creeps up on me and i'm in a mad rush like every year to finish my Christmas knitting on Christmas eve. I say every year that i'm going to start earlier and not stress myself. But time slips through my hands every year. Oh well, I can only do what I can. And this year I have so many mitten requests I don't know where to start. Well i'm off to dream land. Till the next post.....  : D

Finally Finished!!!.......I've also started Mikes Mittens in a different wool because the Briggs and Little was too thick for the pattern I'm using. Pictures to follow soon......Onto the next master piece. :D

I Hate Being Sick

Well folks i'm off on my 7 days of rest and relaxation only to end up sick with a head cold. I guess I can thank the million people who ride my bus to work sick. *Incert curse word here* Thanks a bunch!!!
As for knitting projects, i'm almost done of the shawlette but i'm not going to post pictures till it's finished now. The Scarf is still where it was because of my lack of knitting on my days on shift. But I did make 3 adorable Crochet Hats for a Friend at work Vanessa.

The ends aren't sewn in yet and the little flowers aren't put on but they are still super cute!
I plan on doing more work on Mike's mittens today. We will see how that goes. I have to do some home schooling first on a course i'm working on. So knitting will have to wait till later tonight. Bye for now!

Newfie Mitts For Mike

Well My Brother-in-Law has been bugging me for 2 years to make him a pair of newfie mitts, the trigger finger kind, so after much delay I found a pattern (Thanks Lynn :) So now I can finally cast them on. So here ya go Mike. They are on their way to becoming Beautiful  Mitts.

Back to Work

Well I did promise you some updated pics of the shawl and scarf, So here they are:

So there you are folks, I know there isn't a huge difference but on my 7 days off I don't have a whole lot of time to knit. We spent 2 days on the road down to Edmonton and the time of day we were driving meant that the sun was shining right into my eyes which made travel knitting difficult. *Sigh* Oh well I did get done at least a little bit LOL. I'm back to work tomorrow for 7 days so I'll be sure to update you when I'm done.

Nails

Ok so i haven't taken any pictures yet of my knitting, it's a slow process people lol but i do have a pic of my ultra cool nails. So here it is.

I believe you can buy it at walmart. I bought mine at a private store called Spoiled Rotten. I have been working on both the scarf and the Shawlette and I promise to post pics soon. I am also told that my wool is on it's way for my new project "Gwendolyn" Can't wait!!!!

7 Long Days

Well I made it thought another long Set of 7 days at work. Now to enjoy my 7 days off. I shall start with some relaxation of course. I have a eye exam at 12:30 today which doesn't leave me much time to knit while i get ready to go out. But I think i may make a lovely Lasagna for supper for my hubby tonight. A little prep and it cooks it's self :D I hope to get a huge chunk done on my scarf i'm working on as well as get the next section done on my shawlette. I will post some pictures when i get both of these things done.
As for the rest of the day, a hot bubble bath is high on the list as well as painting my nails with this ultra cool polish called OPI Crackle ( pics to follow ). So that's it for now.

Helix

So here is my first official Blog about something I'm actually making. I've have a Helix scarf of the needles for My Husbands, friends, wife for Christmas. It doesn't look like much yet but it will soon. And of course I'm making it in Crazy Zauberball in the Pink Colorway.

I know the quality isn't that good because the photo is taken with my IPhone but you get the general Idea.
So this along with Michelle Hunter's KAL that's going on right now I have a shawlette on the needles as well
